New Programme of Activities for 2010

In June 2010 the Big Lottery - Playful Ideas funding comes to an end. All the IMPACT group activities and family sessions have been funded by this fund for the last three years. This means we have had to look at different ways of funding the sessions. For the time being we are going to continue funding these sessions through small amounts of money we have already raised. Until we source funding for the IMPACT sessions and family sessions we would be grateful for any contribution from parents at the sessions.

We have however received funding for new sessions through the Aiming High for Disabled Children. For an explanation of the new programme of activities which will be in place from the beginning of June 2010.

Action for ASDAdult Research Project

As part of Action for ASD’s adult research project, we are currently collecting feedback about NHS mental health services from adults who live within East Lancashire that have or are currently seeking a diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome (AS) or High Functioning Autism (HFA).

We are also collecting feedback from parents and carers of AS/HFA adults.
